About Langar Find
No one should sleep hungry. Langar Find is a free platform connecting people with free food shared by community kitchens, NGOs, and kind neighbours.
Our Mission
Every day, good food goes to waste while people go hungry. Langar Find bridges this gap with a simple map-based platform where anyone offering free food can post a listing in under a minute — and anyone hungry can find it nearby.
What "Langar" Means
Langar is the centuries-old tradition of community kitchens serving free meals to all, regardless of background. We extend this spirit digitally — every listing here is free, no strings attached.
Who Shares Food Here
- 🍲 Community Kitchens — volunteer-run kitchens serving daily free meals
- 🤝 NGOs & Charities — organizations running food drives and ration programs
- 🏠 Individuals — neighbours sharing extra home-cooked food
Our Principles
- Always free: Every listing is 100% free. Selling is prohibited.
- Open to all: No discrimination. Everyone is welcome.
- Community-moderated: Users report problems; our team reviews quickly.
- Privacy-first: Your location is only used to find nearby food.
